Reunion, Pointe Des Gallets

Reunion is an island in the Indian Ocean, located east of Madagascar and very close to the Republic of Mauritius, who claims to own it.

It is a mountainous island of volcanic origin, the highest point is the Piton des Neiges, at 3069 meters. The entire coastline of the island is 207 km.

Administratively it is an overseas department of France. The capital is Saint-Denis.
