To manage more effectively goods in the Indian Ocean area, Viamar Transit opened an office on the Island of Reunion.

Opening of the new office in Novi Ligure (AL), with the purpose of providing our increasing customers a further point of reference for their requirements. Concluded agreement with the ITN CONSOLIDATOR, which allows us to provide a punctual service to the U.S., the whole Caribbean area and the Central and South-America in both IMPORT and EXPORT.

The integrity of procedures, the level of staff competence and the reliability of service obtained the ISO 9001 certification of quality from the examining body URS
2008
The same strategic choice of the previous years led to the inauguration of a new branch office in Spain, in the largest port in the far-western Mediterranean: Valencia. Starting from this year, as the only Italian operator, we are members of the MINERVA INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT FORWARDER ASSOCIATION (M.I.F.F.A.); this enables us to have partners strategically located in all major countries of the world and, therefore, to handle DOOR-TO-DOOR shipments, satisfying any requirement.

The increasing importance of the French Antilles on the market and in the Caribbean area created the need to open a new branch office in Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe, aiming at better meeting customers’ interests on-site.
2001
The headquarters were transferred to Genoa, the most important Italian port of the Mediterranean. Naples remains the operational hub for maritime trades from southern Italy.

After gaining experience in the field, Viamar Transit was placed on the market in complete autonomy, directing its growth on all types of products and for any international route.
1987
Viamar Transit was founded in Naples; the main activity of the company was to provide a logistic support in Italy to an important French forwarding agent.
