Viamar Transit was set up in Naples in 1987, as logistic support to an important French forwarding company.

Since 1997, Viamar Transit, as a result of the company’s ever expanding growth and development, attained it’s independence.

Since 2001 its presence nationally has been cemented with the transfer of it’s headquarters to Genoa from Naples. However, its office in Naples continues to operate as a local unit for shipments in the South of Italy.

In 2003, as a result of our increasing success in the French Antilles and Caribbean market, we were able to open a new branch in Guadeloupe so that we are in a better position to monitor and follow our clients interests.

The decentralisation of our offices that has taken place, has further improved our services and enabled us to follow different foreign markets more closely.
